Arike Ogunbowale

Arike has been a American basketball player. She is a member of the Dallas Wings, a team within the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in her college days before being drafted as the 5th overall pick by the Wings at the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was a Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years) and Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her two older brothers. Since she was the youngest of her siblings, she was considered to be the spoiled one from her family. The father of her Gregory was to the Nigerian Army for quite some period of time. Ogunbowale comes from a lively family. Her brother Dare played football and Yolanda Ogunbowale, her mother played softball. Her cousin Endia Olive is also a volleyball player on the field at Tennessee State. Ogunbowale was on the high school's Honour Roll for three years consecutively. Ogunbowale has also received numerous prizes and gained notoriety and praise throughout her high school years. Arike did her graduation from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School that is in her home town. When she was at school, she also played three seasons of varsity soccer. Ogunbowale steered her school to stunning victories with her exceptional skill multiple times. In her senior year she's scored 1,477 points and 739 rebound. Ogunbowale was awarded Gold Medals at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championships, 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships and 2013 3x3 Championships of FIBA. She was named the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team on July 7, 2014. Ogunbowale was also included on the ACC All-Freshman Team following her initial year at a college. Kobe Bryant congratulated her after shooting a number of big shots in the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale despite being a relative newcomer to basketball, is already establishing herself as a star. It is likely that she will succeed in her professional career. According to sources, Arike Ogunbowale's net worth has been thought to be about $5 million. She is also a soccer player and has even won three State Cup championships at her club Lake County United Soccer Club as well as a State cup title with FC Milwaukee Soccer Club.
